France to be country of IFFI this year
Mumbai: France will be the country of honour in the 53rd edition International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to be held here this year, according a top government. ''There will be more world premieres this year. More film personalities will be attending the festival. Celebrities from across the country will be attending in large numbers. The concept of 75 creative minds, which was introduced last year, will continue this year as well. Poster competition is already there,'' Satyendra Prakash, Principal Director General, Press Information Bureau (PIB) has said. The festival, to be held in Goa during November 20 – 28, 2022, is set to showcase a collage of the best of contemporary and classic films from India and around the globe. Recently the Indian Panorama segment for the year 2022 was announced. Hadinelentu and The Show Must Go On are to be the opening films in feature film and non-feature segments respectively.
